ITINERARY

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN KIGALI

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be welcomed by our professional guide and transferred to your hotel for relaxation and overnight.

DAY 2: AKAGERA NATIONAL PARK – FULL DAY GAME DRIVE

Early morning, depart for Akagera National Park, Rwanda’s only savannah park. Enjoy a full game drive through rolling hills, woodlands, and open plains. Look out for elephants, lions, giraffes, rhinos, zebras, and various antelopes.
Later in the afternoon, Check in your lodge for relaxation.

DAY 3: TRANSFER TO VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, enjoy a sunrise boat ride where you will experience sunrise with bird watching, crocodiles, and hippos after you will do a short game drive as you exit the park. Continue back to Kigali for rest and overnight.

DAY 4: GORILLA TREKKING – VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK

After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing. Begin your trek through lush rainforest to meet the legendary mountain gorillas. Spend one unforgettable hour in their presence before descending. Return to your lodge for lunch and afternoon immerse yourself in Rwanda’s cultural heritage with a visit to Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village. Experience traditional performances, learn about local customs, and interact with community members.

Dinner and Overnight at Bishops House

DAY5: GOLDEN MONKEY TREKKING – DEPARTURE

In the morning, enjoy a guided trek to observe the playful golden monkeys found only in the Virunga region.

After the trek, transfer back to Kigali for your departure flight, marking the end of this unforgettable adventure.
