Day 1: ARRIVAL IN KIGALI

DAY 2: KIGALI CITY TOUR

After breakfast, embark on a guided city tour exploring Kigali’s major highlights. Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial, vibrant local markets, and artisan craft centers. Capture the spirit of the city through its history, culture, and warm hospitality.

DAY 3: GORILLA TREKKING – VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK

After early breakfast drive to Park reception. After a briefing from park rangers, venture into the rainforest to trek the majestic indigenous Mountain Gorillas. Spend an unforgettable hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat.
Later, return to your lodge for relaxation.

DAY 4: GORILLA TREKKING – VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK

After an early breakfast, transfer back to the park reception for your second mountain gorilla trekking experience. Receive a briefing from the park rangers before beginning your trek into the misty rainforest. Spend an unforgettable hour observing these majestic gentle giants in their natural habitat.
Later, return to your lodge for relaxation.

DAY 5: GOLDEN MONKEY TRACKING

Enjoy another exciting morning in Volcanoes National Park with a guided golden monkey trek. These playful and rare primates offer a lively and photogenic experience.
Afternoon visit Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Diana fossey gorilla funds, with the Conservation Gallery where the story of mountain gorilla conservation is explained from Dian Fossey to date.

DAY 6: IBY’IWACU CULTURAL VILLAGE

Today, immerse yourself in Rwanda’s cultural heritage with a visit to Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village. Afternoon return to Kigali in for departure depending on your flight departure time.
